Sustainability

At Alufase S.A., environmental responsibility is more than just a commitment – it’s one of the cornerstones of our corporate philosophy. As part of our ongoing efforts to promote sustainable practices, we are proud to share the key elements of our sustainability program.

Alufase’s expertise in aluminium as scaffolding manufacturer – a material known for its durability and recyclability – allows us to develop high-performance solutions that reduce environmental impact. From thermal-efficient enclosures that support energy savings to systems that harness solar energy, our innovations are designed with the planet in mind.

We also ensure that our supply chain aligns with our environmental values. Our partners in extrusion, anodising, and coating processes are held to strict eco-friendly standards. Together, we work towards a shared goal: building a sustainable future.

We are a company committed to sustainability!

With a structured and proactive sustainability approach. Commitments/policies and tangible actions on important topics. As well as basic reporting on actions or Key Performance Indicators.

EcoVadis Sustainability Rating

The EcoVadis score (from 0 to 100) reflects the quality of a company’s sustainability management system. EcoVadis medals and badges recognize eligible companies that have completed the assessment process and, compared to other assessed companies, have demonstrated a robust management system that addresses key sustainability criteria, as defined in the EcoVadis Methodology.

Our waste management strategy focuses on minimising environmental impact throughout the project lifecycle. Here’s how we responsibly manage and separate waste materials on site:

Aluminium Waste

  • Aluminium profiles are separated for recycling.
  • Lacquered and non-lacquered materials are sorted individually.

Wood Waste

  • Wood materials are collected in designated containers for safe recycling.

Plastic Waste

  • A compacting unit is used to collect and process plastic waste efficiently.

Cardboard Waste

  • Cardboard is stored and compressed using compactors to optimise recycling.

Special Waste & Fluids

  • Waste oils, containers, aerosols, and filters are handled at our designated hazardous waste management point.

Cutting Fluids

  • Cutting oils (taladrinas) are collected and treated following environmental safety protocols.

We regularly review our facilities, procedures, and internal policies to enhance
environmental safety and workplace conditions. All departments set clear sustainability goals and monitor their progress, ensuring continuous improvement through data-driven evaluation.

We believe that environmental protection is a collective effort. That’s why we actively encourage every employee to participate in our mission to reduce emissions, conserve resources, and eliminate waste wherever possible.
